Delivering a Unique and Memorable Real Estate Experience

We all remember the unique and memorable experiences businesses have provided us. Whether it is dinner at a specific restaurant, going to a coffee shop that is so much more than a place to get a coffee, or that new movie theatre in town that has paid attention to detail, they have all done something different, and memorable. For instance, the restaurant could have had exceptional service, combined with a personal greeting from the chef. The coffee shop could have an endless supply of board games and literature to read. The movie theatre could have those really comfortable seats that recline and you could sit in for hours. They are all different businesses, but they are all similar because they have delivered a unique and memorable experience.

There was an investment made by these businesses on a number of different levels. People spent time thinking about what would set them aside from their competitors. They had to strategically put a plan in place for execution. And of course, there was likely a larger financial investment in order to follow through.

An important factor to consider in every business decision is whether or not it will carry a return on investment. In the examples above, all of the investments made in order to create a unique and memorable experience garnered great memories. Now when you want to take clients to a restaurant, you will think of that memorable experience you had with great service and a greeting from the chef. When you want to take your friend for a coffee and to spend some quality time catching up, you will remember the coffee shop that you played Scrabble. When you want to take your family to a movie, you will choose the new theatre in town with an amazing comfort level.

These principals can be carried over to Real Estate. Do you want to be the brokerage that instils the unique and memorable experience? Do you want to be the agent that took the time to consider the finer details and to impress your clients? Delivering a unique and memorable experience is a sure way for clients to want to hire you again in the future, and refer you to friends, family, and colleagues. Take the time to think of how you will make your clients experience enjoyable and memorable. It will pay off!
