Preparing for the Next Software Update
The next software update includes significant changes to your DPN system! Our first client was updated on April 23 and we will begin to contact all clients in May to schedule the remainder of the updates.

Here is a summary of the changes:

  • Menu Shortcuts
    • The keystrokes entered to arrive at a screen or produce a report display in the screen header and report headers
  • New Subdirectory used to store Reports output to F (file) or printed to DISK
  • Enhancements to PDF printing through Secure Commnet as part of our continuing effort to "go green"
  • Edit Archive now includes
    • Update Banners
    • Check Registers
  • Agent Laser Statements now have options to
    • Print an aging
    • Circle the balance due
  • Broker Held Escrow
    • Our standard "pick" format has been implemented for
      • New Escrow Processing
      • Transaction Processing
      • Check Writing
      • Manual Checks
    • Processing screens have changed throughout
    • New Parameter Options have been added
      • Transaction Journal Code is now required for Transaction Processing
      • To Print Escrow Checks by Office
    • Multiple deposit entries can now be added on a new escrow
    • Additional deposit amounts and dates due can now be scheduled and tracked
    • Escrow balances can be transferred from one escrow to another
    • Escrow checks can now be auto voided
    • When refunding escrow funds using the Real Estate Fall through Processing, multiple checks can now be created

Once signed in, you will see the 2010 Updates section. The Quarter 2 Update is the PowerPoint which you will want to fully review. Be sure ALL users of the DPN accounting system have reviewed this documentation before your update is scheduled.
