Our vision has always included trying to accommodate all of your rules and as many of your exceptions as possible when setting up the DPN system and your commission tables. For those rare exceptions, the system allows processors to override the calculated commission percentage to properly pay the agent. The goal is to rarely override, not to regularly override. If you are regularly overriding an agent's commission split, perhaps a review of your rules and the DPN commission plans should be performed to see if any changes can be made that would reduce or eliminate the need to override system calculations.

If you are unsure how often calculated commission percentages are overridden, we can turn on a flag that will monitor overrides for you. A report is available showing the sales where system calculated commission percentages have been overridden by a closing processor. It may be valuable information simply to see to what extent you rely on the person(s) doing your commission processing – and what might happen if that person takes time off.
