Mortgage records are processed similarly to entering trades/transactions in 2.1. However, in the mortgage industry it is common to have Volume Bonuses that come at a later time and one cheque is applicable to several mortgages. Therefore we have added the Additional Payments menu (2.3). These payments can come in some time after the original mortgage commission is paid out. Typically one cheque can be attributed to multiple agents and mortgage records. The Processing Additional Payments option (2.3.1) was designed to process these payments.

When you go into this option, enter the details for the cheque, and then select the deals and agents receiving payments from this cheque. By selecting the applicable classification the system will assign the appropriate agent deduction fees for that class. A sub-transaction will be added to each original deal referenced. Clicking the Post button will actually create/finalize the sub-transaction, post the cash receipt and create the payable for the agent in 8.2.
