Currently available are:
General Ledger:
Month-end Balancing and Close Procedures
This tutorial is not only a valuable review when closing accounting periods, but also features regularly recommended balancing procedures to prevent possible delays by finding a company out of balance when you attempt to close.
Accounts Payable:
Various tutorials specific to 1099 correction situations
If you are notified that information contained on an issued 1099 is incorrect, these tutorials provide specific instructions for making the corrections.
Real Estate:
Coming Soon – Uncovered Expense Report
Learn how this new report will help you quickly identify potential exposure to bad debt on your agent receivables. The Uncovered Expense Report shows the agent's current receivable balance as well as their commissions due in the next 30, 60, and beyond days. A calculated value displays in the uncovered expenses column if the agent currently owes you more than their pending commissions.
Coming Soon – Annual Expense Summary
Another twist on the already popular year end reports that show agents their charges for the year by category (charge code), the Annual Expense Summary may be your report of choice next year. The easy to read format recaps the agent’s charges by code with a total for each code shown in columns by month for the year.
Coming Soon – Commission Cutting Report
The Commission Cutting Report not only shows management the agents that are participating in deals that bring in less than your normal gross commission percentage, but also helps the manager point out to the agent the dollar value forfeited by these commission concessions.
This is the perfect mentoring tool to help branch managers and agents understand the impact of negotiating commissions. The report can be run by company, office, or division, has a beginning/ending date range, can check pending or closed sales, and has the ability to include or exclude specific sale types. The report will prompt for the normal gross commission percentage to be used, enabling you to analyze any type of sale with varying commission percentages.
