U.S. Payroll State taxes have been updated in the program as changes have been announced. Please ensure you update your program from our website before processing your first payroll in 2009, and before you print your tax slips (9.5.4). This will ensure you have all the latest statutory updates. Also, please verify your state unemployment tax and ensure that the employer portion entered in 9.5.4 has the correct percentage in the auxiliary field (9.5.1). This percentage will be unique to each company and assigned by your state. Please ensure the percentage is entered correctly, for example 5.4% would be entered as .054. |
